5 Best Places to Enjoy Easter Brunch in The Desert

It’s time to break out the pastels and florals because Easter Sunday is right around the corner! This year Easter falls on Sunday, April 1st and local desert restaurants are booking up quickly for the brunch-focused holiday. Whether you prefer a casual prix fixe meal, a roadhouse, or an upscale champagne brunch there is certainly an option for everyone.

1. Desert Willows Golf Club

Enjoy the majestic mountain views from the patio from 10 am to 2 pm on Easter Sunday. The Champagne Brunch Buffet features multiple stations for guests to enjoy including made to order omelets, a carving station with Prime Rib, and of course, a pastry station. Desert Willows is consistently a Sunday Brunch favorite in the Valley for a reason and I am sure Easter Sunday will not disappoint. Check out Desert Willows Golf Club’s brunch details here.

2. Acqua Bistro

If your idea of Easter Brunch includes a lively crowd, colorful decor, and a three-course meal then Acqua at The River in Rancho Mirage is perfect for you! The downstairs dining room will offer a prix fixe menu from 11 am to 3 pm for $24.99 while the upstairs dining room will host a brunch buffet for $34.99. Think Eggs Benedict, pancakes, carving stations, and flourless chocolate cake. See Acqua Bistro’s Easter menu here.

3. Jake’s Palm Springs

Jake’s is always a weekend favorite for their innovative brunch menu of Lobster Rolls, Crab Cake Benedict, and salads plus the extensive morning cocktail list. Guests can sip on Marys, Sparklers, or ‘Ritas…just to name a few. Reservations are highly recommended as space is intimate and fills up quickly. Check out Jake’s menu here.

4. Farm Palm Springs

Tucked away in a hidden corner of downtown Palm Springs is Farm, a quaint brunch spot offering crepes, sandwiches, salads, and my personal favorite, Chicken and Waffles. All the tables are outside in a bougainvillea-covered patio that feels like a European village. Farm does not accept reservations and there is almost always a wait so plan ahead! See more of Farm’s offerings here.

5. Pappy & Harriet’s

If your idea of a perfect Easter meal is a roadhouse in the middle of nowhere than be sure to make your way up to Pappy’s! Although they don’t do a brunch menu they do open at 11am for lunch and serve up everything from catfish sandwiches to Santa Maria style trip tip. Florals and pastels optional. Check out Pappy & Harriet’s menu here.
